When you have a couple like Corrine & Dan who are totally in love, have the best sense of humor, and surrounded by their amazing and fun families—it’s a recipe for a dream wedding.
Corrine is a special education teacher and Dan is an auto body technician. They went through middle and high school together but didn’t formally meet until April 2009 at a friend’s pool party. You only have to be around Corrine for half a minute to realize she is one of the most upbeat, positive people you’ll ever meet. Her energy is contagious! And Dan is calm and laid back, the perfect complement to her outgoing nature.
After the couple exchanged vows at St. Monica’s in Jackson, we arrived at Windows on the Water at Frogbridge for their reception. It was our first time there, and we have to say it is now one of our favorite places in New Jersey. From the beautifully manicured grounds, delectable food and wonderful service—it’s easy to see why Corrine and Dan chose it to host their big day.
Corrine was simply gorgeous in her Katie May dress! And her bridesmaids rocked black dresses that they chose themselves which made their sunflower bouquets pop. The groomsman were decked out in suits from Quails. Rather than traditional favors, the couple made a donation to the 109 World Foundation for education. “The donation is to help poor countries have a better education system for their children,” said Corrine.
DJ Joe Rucci with Party Zone Entertainment kept the dance floor packed, and everyone raved over the delicious cake and cupcakes by Kayde’s Kreations.
Corrine said her favorite part of the day was stepping to the side with Dan and watching all of their friends and families smiling and laughing. What would she change? Not a thing! “The fact that it was raining all morning and the sun broke out and shone as soon as we exited the church ceremony…well that says it all,” she said.
Corrine’s advice for other brides? “Do not stress about the things that cannot be changed. At the end of the day, you’re marrying the love of your life and that’s all that matters.”
Well said, Corrine! We wish you a life full of happiness, health and many blessings.
